chrono.at.infoseek.co.jp/from same link As with all the other patches from AVC make sure put the mbr_net.exe in the same folder as mbr.exe and you: - delete/move all the replays out of the replay folder - use a non patched mbr.exe - check and make sure your mbr.exe is not read only - have updated to the latest version (v2.501b) here's a link if you don't have this patch rapidshare.de/files/10059030/mbr2501ft2.exe.html- are using keyboard controls (or joy2key if you want to use a pad) (the beta 2 patch fixes this now I think?) This patch uses UDP port 76, so open that if you are behind a router/firewall. 1p (the host) uses default 1p controls. (arrow keys + nm,.) 2p (the guest) uses default 1p controls as well.

Just tried with with someone else on the west coast. He had torrents and who knows what else running. 50 fps with a lot of lag spikes.

If you are getting a "cannot find mbr.exe" error and you are sure you have the right version. Make sure you turn off Read Only for your mbr.exe

Test with Evospace! CA to CA Framerate 1 50-55 fps, some lag spikes some short some quite long (1-3 seconds) Framerate 5 50-60 fps, few lag spikes, input off "buttons were sticky" Framerate 3 50-60 fps, some lag spikes best compromise between lag spikes/sticky buttons/fps.

Beta 2 has been out since 1/3/06. Seemed to crash a lot less than the previous version. Awesome!

From SoCal to NorCal frameskip 3 55-60 fps with some lag spikes but only 1 or 2 crashes total!
Seems to be working very well atm.

#beastslair on irc.pyoko.org or #efz on irc.efnet.net
Might be an okayish place to start. Don't be insulted if no one responds though, chances are nobody is around at the moment.
