Hmm.Seems like the players there are mostly from the western countries.Think it's hard to find Asian players nowadays.-_- Because of super distance factor,playing a normal game with super lagging is quite impossible.

Hmmmm, it was actually 7.2 that I tried and had the crashes I was talking about in my previous post. I've try it out with people and it seems to be a common problem, but yet it doesn't happen for some people. I have no clue why, but one guy I played with told me that it had to do with some desync problem, to which I don't have a clue what that means. And the lag is pretty bad anyway, so it's not worth anything online at all I guess. I guess it's offline for now...

I'm using Hamachi. How exactly do you play MB using Hamachi?
I tried setting up a network but when my friend joins, there's the dot next to his name is yellow. That means there's a problem. What exactly are we supposed to do when this happens?

I've been playing both Akihas as mains since the beginning, but I'm not really that great with them. Too bad you're in VA though, that's way too far from Cali As for the Hamachi question, it has nothing to do with letting you play MB, since you still have to use the same netplay patch that everybody else uses. All Hamachi does is let you open up a chatroom where people join, so that you can see everybody's IP address and thus eliminates the need to ask for IP whenever someone creates. So just as long as you have the other person's IP address, or vice versa(you can just message it to each other), you can play MB online.

Konichiwa, Minna. I'm fairly new to MBR (Just got it over the weekend) and I'm already REALLY hooked. I just have one problem; I'm not exactly sure how to use this. All my friends that I've given my IP address to say that it won't connect >< Should I turn off my firewall entirely or should I just turn the security off my router? My computer won't show japanese fonts for some reason, so I can' toubleshoot this >< What should I do?! I'm so confusticated ;_;

For some stupid reason I am unable to host for other players. I know for a fact that I set my router to UDP port 76 and to my internal ip address. I find this very odd because I am able to connect to myself and other players.

Hmm. Would someone be willing to test this with me? I have my contact information in my profile, so if you could help me with this, I'd appreciatte it a lot. I'm like, practically begging someone!! Tasukete, onegai!!
I'm usually up from 10:00 am and then for the rest of the day until around sometimes 5:00 AM the next morning, GMT -5. If someone could reach me, I'd be eternally greatful!!

Alright, this is beyond aggravating. Port forwarding on my router is set to UDP port 76 and that is set to my computer's internal ip for the server. Regardless of whether I give the client my true ip (from whatismyip.com) or my hamachi ip, I STILL cannot host a game. Has anyone ever had this problem or have any clue what's going on? I've tried almost every viable solution and nothing works.
