I have a simple question, what gamepad are you guys using? My old, 6-year-old gamepad has finally died on me and I'm trying to find replacement, any good recommendations for fighting games?

PS2 pad with converter here, too.
I used to use Saitek pads and I remember them having a 3 on 3 face button layout (which is apparently favored among fighting game players). Their dpads were very responsive but the problem with them is that they also tended to be fragile. Or maybe I'm just unlucky when it comes to how often those things broke on me.
The Japanese gaming community seems to heavily favor Saturn pads though, as Treusbucks said. Just about every doujin fighting game tournament website I've been to reports something like 90% or more of their players using Saturn pads.

I used to go through about one a year when they still released P880s. I think the P990 feels really strange as far as D-pad movement is concerned, but I haven't really used it nearly as much as the old P880s.
I should probably man up and get a PS2 -> USB converter for Mr. HRAP 2 and relearn how to play just about every game again.

I used to have the P880, I think I still have it somewhere thrown in my room. But it kinda messed up on me. I tried using that again for a while.. for some reason I found it too complicated. Too used the the PS2 Pad I guess =P
