Can someone guide me on how to use the Paledit without screwing existing custom palletes?
Also, can someone tell me how to take screenshots of the game (while playing, of course)
Thanks.

There's no need to worry about existing custom palettes; they're identical to the regular palettes, and you can always reset the special palettes with the upper right button. Unfortunately, you can only save one palette set per color slot. (There are 6 per character.) If you want more, you could copy and rename the *.pal files to something manageable, though you still can only select from 6 at a time. Don't forget to use the special button when you pick your character; otherwise, you won't see your special palette. ----- For screenshots, try fraps. www.fraps.com/

Honestly, there's no way you can permenantly mess anything up, so you should feel free to experiment. Be a risk-taker.
Top left drop-down menus: character (out of 23) and example pose (out of 5). Top right buttons: "Turn on animation" and "Reset to default" (will ask for confirmation). Bottom left buttons: Zoom in and out. Bottom right menu/button: Custom pallette to edit (out of 6) and "Save palette to disk" (will ask for confirmation).
