Ive Created an Hamachi Server for EFZ to see if it works for it, if it works i will leave it and stay online as long as i can xD
If it works maybe Hamachi is faster ^^
If you want to play, join the server and pm one player or chat with someone on the irc channel and share the hamachi server to play.
I cant connect to the irc channel so you can go inside and pm my name there, it is also Final Flash.
Network Name: EFZ Europe, Password: Zero. (Case Sensitive)
I inputted Europe cuz thats where im from and maybe it fastens your connection cuz im in the middle of USA and Japan xD
My usual time of being online should be from 18:00[6:00pm](gmt +1) or later depends, till 00:01[12:01am](gmt +1) also depends on my will xD so the time will usually be +- but always around that.
The time that i am online will always vary so you can sometimes expect some hours early or some hours later so all users from all the world can play on it lol
Hope to see someone soon ;D
*EDIT*
If it works lol:
To ensure that you are playing against the other member, if it has more than 1 online member wait till they start playing and then you go.
Detailed:
It is really very simple what im trying to do...
When two or more are playing their green indicator will blink its that simple lol

Hello, I was just wondering, I seem to have almost the same problem that Daigo had, except I cannot find out what's going on. We both have the 4.02 version of EFZ, we both deleted all the replay files, we both put on the udp port as 78, he hosts because he's directly connected to the internet, but nothing is working! Does anyone have any advice?

Well, for EX netplay app, the port is UDP 88 for one thing ^^;
Check about windows firewall, or any other type of software or hardware firewall, make sure configuration settings are the same (especially "Effect" the middle option of the 5 radio buttons, it should be set to normal, (right side))

I forgot to mention that we had also turned off our firewall systems. And apparently, I had read from this thread that for someone who's wireless, needs to put the UDP port as 78. I might have read that wrong... (Also, what do you mean about making the configuration settings same? I usually get what you would mean, but the radio buttons threw me off... -__-;

I'm quite certain that with the newest version of the netplay (EX 0.11), UDP port 88 is required. The FAQ that I wrote for the old netplay (1.21) is a bit out of date now. It used to be UDP 78 for that, I think.
Radio buttons are the type of buttons that have the circle with the dot and you can only choose one option. Sorry if that wasn't clear ^^;;;
Making the same = both players have the same settings for the 5 options.
Feel free to come to the IRC channel sometime, and we can help you to troubleshoot directly perhaps~

Nevermind, I got it to work. I just had to open my ports, which I was sure that it was open...
EDIT:
So if I wanted to make the game faster, what would I have to do?

Your best bet is to check IRC. #efz @ irc.efnet.net
What country do you live in?
