Why wouldn't it run for Win 98? Does it crash when you try it? If it doesn't crash, it's probably fine. We'll figure out the other bugs by trying it out, so go jump on #efz and try it!

Make sure that lang_0.txt is in the same folder as efz.exe!

are you sure that didn't work? the only way i was able to duplicate the error was by not having those files in the same directory. the efz netplay ex and the lang_0.txt and efz.exe. did you make any changes to lang_0.txt perhaps?

You can visit us at #efz on irc.efnet.net
Usually, no games are hosted until they're requested, so go request one in irc!

It could be corrupted in an way, it doesnt need to be an virus it can be an users mistake too xD
Like maybe it hasnt enought access ^^ if you cant access it you cant write to it, if you cant write to it it is as if nothing is there, be sure your an administrator(owner) of that folder(advanced windows file sharing).
Hope this hint helps lol ^^

Hey guys, I have a problem with this netplay right now I have no clue what the cause is, so I thought I should ask around and see if I get an answer
you see, when I play use this netplay, sometimes my partner and I get 'disconnected' but like, what happens is that the opponent would start doing random things, like exiting out of the menu, and choosing random characters, and in-game they would stand there and then do a few random attacks.
It happens when we play continuously, but we've had some experiences where it starts to happen after 1 round. I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this.
Thanks in advance.

Ah, that is the "desync" issue. No one really knows what is causing it; sometimes it is wireless internet, or firewall, or ISP. But there is no confirmation. If you come to the IRC channel maybe you can test with other people ^^

I believe it's confirmed that for every player, there's at least one opponent from the channel who won't desync?
